Reference removed

[edit]

I have removed an added reference with this edit: [1]. Per its abstract the text has nothing or very little to do with the actual article content about the alleged establishment of this field of study "in the late 1970s", that is in need of independent verification. Users with a likely connection to the author have systematically added several of his publications - often off-topic or only of tangential relevance - into various articles. So, at the very least, this addition should be decided by uninvolved editors - per WP:SELFCITE about disputed additions with a likely conflict of interest. The use of the offensive and racist word 'Mulatto'

[edit]

The person that wrote this long winded entry is openly using racist terms like 'Mulatto' to describe people of mixed ethnicity. A mulatto was what they called a mixed race baby born to a slave which was going to become a slave too. 83.137.6.237 (talk) 07:02, 6 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Done Just removed the term “mulatto”. Rsk6400 (talk) 16:57, 6 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Genetic part must be removed due to obsolete sources

[edit]

The references are old in the genetics part of the text, when population genetics was in embrional stage, when the genetic test were not enough developed. Nowadays (with high res autosomal tests even ethnic groups can be detected) in population genetics. Therefore I had to remove references.
