To create ibids, a use of a reference is given a name, as I did for the first use of King reference. Sometimes you will see the name within quotation marks, but that is optional. For additional uses of the same ref use the ref name=____ within the <> brackets, with a / before the end bracket. The full reference does not have to be the first use of the reference. However, the assigned number will be based on the use closest to the beginning of the article. David notMD (talk) 17:47, 3 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
