Expert needed
[edit]Hello! I found this article and noticed that it has a few issues that could be remedied by someone with expertise in Maori mythology. The two listed sources are quite old (over 50 years) and the article itself is written in story form, rather than presenting information about the mythological content in an encyclopedic way. In my brief research into the article, I discovered several different tellings of the story of how Hine-nui-te-po became a goddess of the underworld. I think the article needs someone with more familiarity with the Maori pantheon and appropriate sources to back up the info. --Curdigirl (talk) 02:45, 13 February 2019 (UTC)
