Work
[edit]This page needs more work. It should look professional like the other public high schools in New York City. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.73.117.139 (talk) 21:00, 1 October 2008 (UTC)

Blue Ribbon School
[edit]I deleted the unreferenced statement that Hillcrest won the Blue Ribbon excellence award, since I don’t see Hillcrest mentioned in the dept of education site: https://www2.ed.gov/programs/nclbbrs/list-2003.pdf. There happens to be a passing mention in a Queens Chronicle article about ”Two Hillcrest High Students Caught Setting Fires At School” https://www.qchron.com/editions/eastern/two-hillcrest-high-students-caught-setting-fires-at-school/article_7ae7a292-ce8c-5e22-93ee-8e5ecfac2bea.html but I believe the Department of Education site is a more reliable source since it is the department which gives the award. -- Work permit (talk) 19:04, 29 November 2020 (UTC)
- It sure would be nice if this article about a school could mention something that actually had to do with education. Of course, since the source is primarily about students setting fires, it seems that academics is not really a priority at this school. I wonder if this institution is really a day care center for juvenile delinquents masquerading as a school. SquirrelHill1971 (talk) 18:48, 28 November 2023 (UTC)
