This page should not be marked for deletion. I am currently editing it, and it is well within the spirit of what HHS alumni and other entities surrounding the school would like to see promoting a high school of its stature within its community.

It is an ode to a high school, as well as a service to the community and any incoming students that may attend it. If there are issues with the page, I would appreciate any help editing it or point out what needs to be edited. Currently alot of the page has been taken from the HHS alumni website, but can and will be cited properly and/or permission requested for the content. Also, much of the site has not been taken from any other site it is entirely original.

This is just stem on which the page can grow. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Amiziko (talkcontribs)

  • We cannot accept text copied from other websites without explicit permission. I removed any non-original content and a few unencyclopedic sections. Please realize that Wikipedia is an encyclopedia. It isn't a place to host an "ode to a high school", although an article on a high school, written in a neutral tone with encyclopedic language and original content may be appropriate. Many of your edits were poorly informed and unjustified. Even according to your own definition of wiki style you have been inconsistent. Next time you slash an article, read it first. Cheers,

  • I read it first, and removed everything that appeared to have been copied from another website. I also removed another section which was thoroughly unencyclopedic, and tagged the rest for cleanup. Cheers, Afluent Rider 22:15, 28 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

On nomination for deletion

[edit]

I don't believe this article should be deleted, nor nominated for deletion. At this writing, the article is mostly objective and informative. If the vanity aspects of the article are cleaned up (describing the sports program as "storied" would be more appropriate in a sports blog than in a Wikipedia article), I think it is legitimate content.
