Requested image

[edit]

Not sure if this picture [1] helps. It is an image of the entrance of the Hawaii state senate. Probably a picture of the inside would be better. Esb 05:15, 23 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Done. We will take what we can get. :) —Viriditas | Talk 08:31, 23 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Graphic

[edit]

@User:Ilamb94 I saw you were the founder of WikiProject US State Legislatures and the graphic here needs to be changed to reflect the most recent elections. This is also true of the Hawaii house of Represeantives. I am trying to help fix the state legeslators themselves but i dont know how to do graphics. 2603:8081:2E00:D0E:D1E:15EE:70F7:98AC (talk) 23:29, 29 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Requested move 31 August 2024

[edit]
The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review after discussing it on the closer's talk page. No further edits should be made to this discussion.

The result of the move request was: procedural close, malformed request. The target is occupied by a different article, which has caused discussion to proceed along unproductive lines. If the intention was to suggest renaming this article Hawaii State Senate, please initiate a new request using that title. Dekimasuよ! 05:39, 2 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hawaii SenateHawaii State Legislature – Use the official name of the house per Rules of the Senate, which indicates the official name as "Hawai‘i State Senate". Cfls (talk) 22:50, 31 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

wait why not move it to 'Hawaii State Senate' then?—blindlynx 23:48, 1 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hawaii State Legislature is a bicameral body composed of two houses: the lower house (Hawaii House of Representatives) and the upper (Hawaii Senate). All states with bicameral legislatures have separate articles for the lower house, the upper house, and the legislative body as a whole (see List of United States state legislatures). For consistency, they should not be combined. Osevilla (talk) 04:26, 2 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
