The contentious topics procedure applies to this page. This page is related to post-1978 Iranian politics, which has been designated as a contentious topic.
The contents of the Wall Street Journal are just claims which have not been established. It is not clear who is this people familiar with the matter? In the other hand, The claim used in the lead is based on the confession of an Iranian farmer named Mansour Rasouli, who denied any involvement in the operation. This matter is stated in a part of the article, it is OPV to bring it in the lead. @Nojuan Atall: This removal has nothing to do with RS reasons and this matter has been mentioned before in the article (Israel claimed Khodaei was the deputy head of an alleged secret unit known as 840 in the Quds Force...). I have written the reasons above. Please fix them or use TALK pages to communicate your reasons for changes to the article. M1nhm (talk) 06:31, 20 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
The same information is widely reported by several mainstream sources, including The New York Times, which I added. "I don't like it" is not a valid argument to remove properly sourced, attributed content. Sorry, it doesn't work like that.--Nojuan Atall (talk) 03:28, 21 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Nojuan Atall:This is not your personal page or blog, it is a page for facts. In all sources, you mention including The New York Times and wjs, and other RS this matter is just a claim. This is POV if you select only part of the issue and exclude other parts of the claim. you should mention all views. please act professionally and discuss here to improve the article, or I will have to report to you on Administrators.
