- ... that Harry Dunn (pictured with Joe Biden) guarded a stairwell with injured officers and Nancy Pelosi's office during the January 6 United States Capitol attack?
Created by Muboshgu (talk). Self-nominated at 19:19, 4 November 2023 (UTC). Post-promotion hook changes for this nom will be logged at Template talk:Did you know nominations/Harry Dunn (police officer); consider watching this nomination, if it is successful, until the hook appears on the Main Page.
- Nice job. New enough (nominated 4 days after creation) and long enough (3,348 characters). Well sourced and appears copyvio free based on spotcheck plus Earwig ("unlikely"). The hook is interesting. Official White House photograph is Public Domain. QPQ is done. So here are my remaining issues:
- BLP compliance: Source should be cited for the birthdate.
- Hook citation: Not seeing which source says he guarded Nancy Pelosi's office. Maybe I missed it. Could you please specify where it says that? Cielquiparle (talk) 20:09, 4 November 2023 (UTC)
- @Cielquiparle: good catch on Pelosi's office. Those sources do not support the statement. It's my error, the NBC News citation later in the article does:
Dunn, armed with a rifle, stood near House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's office on Jan. 6, 2021, and interacted with members of the Oath Keepers.
In the photo examined during the Oath Keepers trial, used in this USA Today source, Dunn is guarding Pelosi's office. I rearranged the citations. Also, the DOB comes from the JMU page in the external links. I don't think an inline citation is required here as it's not really likely to be challenged. – Muboshgu (talk) 23:28, 4 November 2023 (UTC)
- Confirming that hook citation issue has been resolved, also within the article. Good to go. Cielquiparle (talk) 03:55, 5 November 2023 (UTC)
- @Cielquiparle: good catch on Pelosi's office. Those sources do not support the statement. It's my error, the NBC News citation later in the article does:
Vandalism
