Hello @Raydann! I noticed that you had marked this draft as under review but then unmarked it. May I know the reason of your decision? What you contemplate or cancel the review process? So I or the other editors know what to improve for this draft. Thank you in advance! —Shenaall (t♣c) 08:02, 2 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I noticed quite a bit of Wikipedia:Citation overkill in this article, most egregiously in the “Artistry” section. Some very innocuous statements in this article have upwards of 10 citations attributed to them. I think we should whittle things down to 1 or 2 good quality citations per statement for readability and best practices. RachelTensions (talk) 03:26, 10 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
hey! Thanks for the feedback. I didn't create the article and I don't want to claim it's all or majority my work (I believe several people had been working on this before I touched it!); however, I did edit/expand several sections ahead of the draft's acceptance, so I'll take accountability for the citations. Your point is a fair one! It would be fair to say it's a combined consequence of this being my first article to contribute towards (so perhaps less used to what feels like a "good" number, so to speak) and feeling a bit anxious to show that I was adding verifiable claims (so perhaps being a bit overzealous with citations), so I do apologise for any big deviations from best practice. As @Shenaall has said, they have already begun work on improving this; I too am entirely happy to work with (both of) you and/or other contributors to polish the article.
