Why is the map in Serbo-Croatian?
[edit]See title - is there a way to make it English? Birdplane (talk) 05:12, 7 May 2024 (UTC)
- I think this issue is related to a bug in OpenStreetMap. See Wikipedia:Village pump (technical)/Archive_212#Serbian_place_names_displayed_on_Manhattan_maps for more details. Transpoman (talk) 20:24, 4 June 2024 (UTC)

The result of the move request was: Snow closing this move request - no evidence or strong argument that this is a WP:COMMONNAME for the building. - Fuzheado | Talk 11:36, 9 May 2024 (UTC) (non-admin closure)
Hamilton Hall (Columbia University) → Hind's Hall (Columbia University) – As detailed in the article, Columbia protestors unfurled a banner identifying the building as Hind's Hall, a name that has largely caught on in the public space. In recent times, the building is far more widely known as Hind's Hall than as Hamilton Hall. At the very least a redirect should be added, if not a direct move. - Oppose this is too soon to even consider renaming based only on protestors and no official name change. Reliable sources are still, as far as I can tell, primarily using Hamilton Hall as the name. Discussing the protestors declared name change isn't the same as the RS's "accepting" the name change. A redirect (potentially tagged with {{R from non-neutral name}}) could be fine. - SNOW Oppose, a name created by protesters is not close to the common name. I support a redirect. Esolo5002 (talk) 19:20, 8 May 2024 (UTC)
- Oppose as not the common name, but there should be a hatnote from Hind's Hall (song), to which Hind's Hall currently (and unnecessarily?) redirects, to this article. Sammi Brie (she/her • t • c) 00:48, 9 May 2024 (UTC)
- I would second this plan. Jjazz76 (talk) 05:40, 9 May 2024 (UTC)
- While this article should not be renamed, are we sure that the song is the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC for the title Hind's Hall? Graham (talk) 05:57, 9 May 2024 (UTC)
- I would second this plan. Jjazz76 (talk) 05:40, 9 May 2024 (UTC)
- SNOW Oppose, protesters do not have naming rights. The current mention along with other instances of informal, short-term "renaming" seems fine. The song being the primary search result for "Hind's Hall" makes more sense.CharlesBluth (talk) 08:26, 9 May 2024 (UTC)
