- Designs for new services run using the curve have been suggested to reduce journey times between Walthamstow and Stratford or Tottenham Hale to 12 minutes from their current duration of 34 minutes and 43 minutes respectively.
This can't be right. Walthamstow - Tottenham Hale takes less than 5 minutes on the Victoria line. Surely it should read "...between Walthamstow or Tottenham Hale, and Stratford...".
Perhaps "...between Walthamstow and Stratford, or between Tottenham Hale and Stratford..." would be better, for clarity.
I realise that the cited source ([1]) makes a similar mistake:
- ...which would reduce journeys between Walthamstow and Stratford or Tottenham Hale to just 12 minutes each, instead of the current 34 minutes and 43 minutes respectively.
however, this is no excuse for repeating misinformation.
UPDATE: actually, on reflection, fast trains are already possible between Tottenham Hale and Stratford; they are just not very frequent. Tottenham Hale - Stratford trains would not use the Hall Farm Curve anyway; only Walthamstow - Stratford ones would. I think that the article may have originally meant Chingford instead of Tottenham Hale; however, it still doesn't entirely make sense because the new Chingford - Stratford timings will be about 20 minutes, as stated elsewhere in the article, and not 12 minutes. -Spacemartin (talk) 12:36, 10 August 2013 (UTC)

[edit]Is this fact? It is not supported by the 2 references. I personally remember chingford trains being diverted via Stratford and hence this curve until in to the mid 1980s. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rbannocks (talk • contribs) 15:46, 3 September 2014 (UTC)
