Move to "Haj-Ali Razmara"

[edit]

"Haj-Ali" is his first name. Jahangard 18:00, 11 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You sure the "Haj" is not the "Hajji" title prefixing his name? See also Arabic name. --Jerome Potts 23:42, 27 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The official Persian spelling is حاجعلی (Hāj'ali). نامی ناشناس (talk) 05:48, 10 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

"officially implicated"

[edit]

"there is no evidence that he (Ayatollah Kashani) or any other National Front member, was ever officially implicated in the assassination of Prime Minister Ali Razmara"
Pardon my crudeness, is this "officially" necessary? Does it make a difference? If so, could it be reworded, or explained a bit, for uncouths such as me?
TIA, --Jerome Potts 20:36, 27 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Political slant?

[edit]

This line, specifically the part after the comma, sounded like it had a political agenda and didn't at all sound like an entry in an encyclopedia:

"The nationalization of the oil industry was supported by the vast majority of the Iranian public, who mistakenly believed it would lead to prosperity for all."

I removed the "Mistakenly". It was way too POV.
