Just a plea to any Wikipedia editors tempted to remove information without sources: I'm a member of the H V Morton society and although I don't have the expertise or resources to add sources to this article myself, I know from having read society articles and from my own collection of Morton's books that most of what is written is definitely verifiable, it's just that it hasn't been done yet. I will contact other members and ask them to take care of it, and in the interim please leave what is here untouched - because it obviously represents a great deal of work by someone who knows a lot about the subject, but not so much about Wikipedia rules about sources. His private writings also reveal that he was a frequent adulterer.
