I know the students are going to react badly to this, so I thought I would explain it. The sections on the basketball team walkout and the Laramie project, while reasonably well written, are just not the kind of thing an encyclopedia article about a high school should have. They were news and important when they were added, but the long term usefulness of the material is not there. This article was rated "stub" with that material in it, and it is still rated "stub". If you want to improve it, write a history section, in which you could make a brief mention of both events along with the rest of the school's history. As far as pictures go, the ones I removed did nothing to improve the article. A picture in an encyclopedia article should be there to illustrate a point of important information. The ones I removed were not good quality, and seemed to be there just to show students faces. I am more than happy to help anyone that wants to make useful additions to this article. Feel free to message me on my talk page. Gtwfan52 (talk) 03:52, 24 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
