Acclaim

[edit]

From what I'm seeing in the sources about his activities at Acclaim, there's much that he's notable for while there that's being ignored. --Ronz (talk) 16:39, 21 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I worked at Acclaim as it was folding and we would circulate news stories about how the CEO had to have special body guards at shareholder meetings. It got very cantankerous. The general feeling is that this guy ran this huge gaming conglomerate into the ground by buying up expensive franchises and putting minimal money into development on trash like "South Park Racing." At the end the only thing we had that profited were the Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen Games.
If that wasn't enough he was openly sued by shareholders and accused of some shady stuff on the way out. The idea that none of this is mentioned is a huge miss. He seems like a perfect CEO here with no controversy and that's just not the record. 108.41.195.89 (talk) 02:25, 29 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Specifically, the reference "Former Acclaim boss slammed in court docs". I'm not finding any follow up to the complaints or the bankruptcy proceedings, so perhaps not.--Ronz (talk) 01:55, 22 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
