Removed Chinese news and auction sources
[edit]@Rastinition:, I saw that in this edit you also removed Zhongjin News and the Beijing Poly International Auction Co., Ltd. as sources, one is a news agency and the other is an auction company which hires experts to assess and describe their stock. The news agency as far as I can tell is a neutral source and the auction company hired an expert to give information about the pieces that are up for sale (which is not the same as a shop selling its own inventory). Care to explain why these two sources were lumped together with kknews.cc? --Donald Trung (talk) 23:07, 2 January 2022 (UTC)
- 1. 1 week has passed, so I need to guess my thoughts from the deleted content
- 2. 石先生出手一枚罕见户部造鄂字版大清铜币 and 张先生出手一组两枚价值不菲的户部造大清铜币 are the similar content. It all seems to promote value ,so I thought it might be publicity or commercial.
- 3. 北京保利国际拍卖有限公司 makes me think that this is a store or auction platform for selling.
- 4. If you believe that they are all (which is not the same as a shop selling its own inventory), you can put it back, but I still don’t understand how they are related to these paragraphs other than proving the Chinese name.If it is just to prove the Chinese name, it may not need so many sources, which makes me feel very strange
- PS: I found that you seem to be looking for an opportunity to chat to me, but I am not interested in you.Maybe it's my illusion. Rastinition (talk) 11:40, 3 January 2022 (UTC)
- I am most certainly not looking for an opportunity to chat with you. But as these are all public edits on a public project I simply want to know your justifications for those edits as you didn't provide any explanations in your edit summary.
- Also, the original auction source provided more information but today that page is no longer online there, the Internet Archive's Wayback Machine has stored it and by removing the link you are making it more difficult for that bot. --Donald Trung (talk) 12:15, 3 January 2022 (UTC)
- I may not write details every time. Sometimes I don't notice, sometimes ENTER has been entered, but it is rare to be completely blank(didn't provide any).In fact, I left a part(SPS kknews).
- I guess what you mean is that the page disappeared because the sale of the item has ended.(It's not on sale now, so sales information can be used as a source.)Rastinition (talk) 12:22, 3 January 2022 (UTC)
