Continuity
[edit]I have to refute the argument that this film is "in continuity" with Mothra or War of the Gargantuas. Yes it uses stock footage from them, but it writes an entirely different story for the events that took place during those films. Dave (talk) 06:32, 2 December 2014 (UTC)
Mothra Heat Ray
[edit]The article says that they said that Mothra fell to the heatray. This is incorrect. They say that, "We invented a [...I can't remember...] heatray to kill that monster." Or something like that. I don't think they ever said anything about it working. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 66.224.229.18 (talk) 16:45, 14 March 2007 (UTC).
The exact words (in the English dub) are: "Like Mothra, that giant moth spawned by atomic tests in the South Pacific. Luckily, we destroyed it with a massive heat ray gun."99.106.241.235 (talk) 15:55, 20 October 2019 (UTC)
That’s the English version, in the original Japanese version they only said they created one to fight it with, they didn’t destroy it (and in the actual movie “Mothra”, they didn’t manage to kill her. They fried her cocoon but she still hatched and flew away) GodzillaExpert100 (talk) 02:47, 7 March 2020 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:GXMG Poster.jpg
[edit]Image:GXMG Poster.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Edited Plot
[edit]Hoping that I don't step on anyone's toes here, but I went through and reworked the plot summary because I didn't think that it really did an adequate job, or was even particularly accurate in many points. I will point out that I was adding a lot of the stuff while I was watching the movie, so I'm relatively confident on my facts, though I am not a Godzilla expert by any stretch of the imagination. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.195.239.127 (talk) 05:52, 15 December 2010 (UTC)
