Glen Brunman was my boss when I worked at Epic Records 25 years ago. 25! I've seen him once since then. I'm noting it here in the interest of full disclosure. Julie 22:05, 27 July 2014 (UTC)JSFarman (talk)

Referencing thoughts

[edit]

This is a stylistic matter, not a technical one. I accepted the draft knowing that there are areas where, as a matter of legibility, it can be accused of having borderline WP:CITEKILL. We write articles containing referenced facts with one audience in mind: the reader. My opinion is that a maximum cluster of a pair of references is usually more than enough for any fact, and that the extra reference(s) may well be able to be repurposed to cite different facts. Otherwise the greater number of references tends to overwhelm or impede readability.

I'm raising this as my own view and noting the fact that I chose to disregard it on acceptance. Fiddle Faddle 19:46, 28 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Fiddle Faddle I agree. I'm going to get rid of some of the references. (I got lost in the research, some of which fascinated me - I forgot that not every reader is going to be as interested in the media history of Bruce Springsteen as I am.) Thanks for the input.
