Split from Girl Geek Dinners
[edit]I split page Girl Geek Dinners in two because it made more sense to me to have all the Scotland content on a separate page — Preceding unsigned comment added by MarjonW (talk • contribs) 08:17, 10 April 2010
- Not sure that makes sense really, as it still is a subgroup of the Girl Geek Dinners, and there usually aren't separate wiki pages for subgroups/locations of organisations (e.g. IBM doesn't have IBM UK, IBM US, etc. pages). I would suggest the articles be merged again, with a separate section for Girl Geeks Scotland. This leaves open the option to add further sections for other subgroups that have additional relevant information. --Papercutexit (talk) 07:07, 29 September 2012 (UTC)

Move to Girl Geek Scotland
[edit]The organisation name is Girl Geek Scotland and has been since its inception, not "Geeks". This is supported by every available citation on the page, so I won't link them again here, but here is their official website for reference. I propose a move to Girl Geek Scotland. GhostOfNoMeme 23:23, 22 July 2024 (UTC)
- I believe this move would be entirely uncontroversial. It was suggested in the recent AfD which ended with a Keep vote. I expect no objections but I will leave this discussion open for a day, after which I'll move the page myself. GhostOfNoMeme 23:27, 22 July 2024 (UTC)
- Support proposal agrees with the sources. ResonantDistortion 05:12, 23 July 2024 (UTC)
- Done. Page moved to Girl Geek Scotland. GhostOfNoMeme 09:44, 23 July 2024 (UTC)
