"I was cutting the rug" Couldn't that be sexual innuendo? --71.224.19.29 16:34, 10 January 2007 (UTC)
he was dancing. --66.218.12.122 04:01, 11 January 2007 (UTC)
- Yeah, the term "cutting the rug" means that they were dancing. That's why you hear "Wait a minute mister, I didn't even kiss her" later. If it was sexual at all, that wouldn't make sense. "151.200.178.97 02:58, 6 May 2007 (UTC)"
Water fell on the floor
[edit]Is this a euphemism for urinating in your pants? It has always seemed that way to me, but people I have spoken to about it deny it, thinking that in the commotion, a glass of water was tipped over on a bar table. 65.248.164.214 (talk) 19:51, 30 April 2008 (UTC)
Stick Her
[edit]Ronnie would change the lyrics, replacing "kiss" with "stick" ("Oh, wait a minute, mister; I didn't even kiss her!" to "Oh, wait a minute, mister; I didn't even stick her!"). This isn't true. I have many different versions of this song, and Ronnie NEVER said STICK her. That was something little brother Johnny has always sang when he took over in 87.
