Sanitation?

Eh? I thought that was the work of William Crawford Gorgas - Goethals slashed the medical budget, in order to devote all resources to the actual construction work. GCarty 09:49, 16 Jun 2005 (UTC)
- exactly , Goethals almost caused death of thousands by opposing sanition in canal zone and this wiki article is opposite of other wiki articles

Is that a German ü? That is unlikely. Is this supposed to be a ə (schwa)?
