The terms "extremist", "terrorist" and "freedom fighter" should be avoided or used with care. Editors discussing the use of these terms are advised to familiarize themselves with the guideline, and discuss objections at the relevant talkpage, not here. If you feel this article represents an exception, then that discussion properly belongs here.
@The Banner, WP:NPOV prevents us from using political spin terms such as "pro-choice" in articles. You can add "pro-abortion rights" if it helps you to clarify who he meant in the quote. Thanks. Elizium23 (talk) 00:51, 8 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I call that censorship. And we have WP:SPADE. When backed up by sources, we should tell the truth. Not twiddle around it out of fear of hurting someone feelings. The Bannertalk08:45, 8 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
This was added all the way back around the time it happened, initially as "anti-abortion activist" then changed depending on the editor's POV.
But is it right to say when this is the only notable act of terrorism (or activism) from Roeder and he was just a normal scizophrenic man until then? It's a bit redundant and confusing, like you don't say someone was killed by a murderer, when that's the only murder they committed. 178.164.251.223 (talk) 21:11, 2 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
