Cleanup needed

Please see the Cuban artists checklist for background about this article, and please update it with any changes that you make to this article.72.75.110.142 (talk) 23:45, 14 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Upon further review, Category:Cuban contemporary artists is intended for visual artists (painting, sculpture, photography, etc.), but not the musical or performing artists ... consequently, I have removed this article from the category, and the above comment is inoperative. Happy Editing! — blp=yes 23:53, 14 March 2008 (UTC)

The current text reads as if it has been machine translated - especially all these references to People D'Zona and People D'area ! That all needs reverting to their actual name. -- Beardo (talk) 17:37, 25 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Neutrality of the article seems... off

[edit]

Most of what I'm seeing here, as far as literary content, seems to be suffering from a case of a bias towards the group. My guess is an overzealous fan has been highly involved in this article, as it's overly positive nature is clear in phrases related to the strength of the voice of one member and the "romantic vibes" of another. I am not highly knowledgeable about Gente de Zona, however, so I would appreciate it if someone more knowledgeable on this topic could edit my editing after I go to do that (I'll leave the tables though, they seem good). Thanks! The Average Gamer (talk) 00:06, 6 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I stand corrected. This article is pervasively biased towards the musicians in the band, to the point that I suspect they might have written this themselves. To fix this article requires someone to have a knowledge of the actual information contained in this article's statements and the ability to write a properly cited intro, which I do not. Given this and that I have other things to do, I am passing the torch to whoever wants to take it (and is qualified to do so) via a nomination on the article's neutrality. My condolences to you, should you do so. The Average Gamer (talk) 00:33, 6 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@The Average Gamer: I have gone ahead and removed the entire history and lead sections. They are unsourced promotional drivel and all salvageable information is already in the sourced discography. – Teratix 12:19, 6 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
