Notability
[edit]I can't find a single paragraph in the article explaining why this site is notable or important to be included in Wikipedia, per WP:N. Please enlighten. Wikipedian06 (talk) 21:46, 23 May 2008 (UTC)
- Honestly, the entire thing seems to be a worshipful sermon about the thing, written by someone who is obviously in a conflict of interest. I could agree with it being put up for deletion. Not even Mr. Lister's Koromon survived intact. 22:05, 25 May 2008 (UTC)
I don't get Wikipedia's deletion policy, or notability guidelines. They are strange and skewed sometimes. 75.121.26.60 (talk) 16:39, 11 January 2009 (UTC)
- 3 years go by, not much change. there are sargasso seas of nonnotability scattered across wp.Mercurywoodrose (talk) 10:08, 27 November 2012 (UTC)
- The website is at least notable for existing. It comes across as a content aggregator, though; there's no mention of any full-time staff and the reviews seem very generic, with no personality or character. My hunch is that Duke Ferris was the only full-time staffmember; his exit strategy was to sell the domain, which he did; now it's just forum posts. Presumably he wrote this article, in which case writing isn't really his forte. It's a mixture of padding - games commonly have previews which are previews of elements of games which are featured in the previews section of the site which features previews which are previews of elements of the game previewed by the developers during the pre-production preview stage of the games - and I learn that member reviews are "part of the member produced content that has gained affluence since its inclusion" which... what? The reviewers are paid? Influence? Gained influence over what, or with whom? -Ashley Pomeroy (talk) 21:50, 19 April 2015 (UTC)
Broken links
[edit]Some of the links in the "Style of Reviews" section, specifically the last two, are broken. 75.121.26.60 (talk) 16:39, 11 January 2009 (UTC)
