Edit war
[edit]Some of you currently appear to be engaged in an edit war regarding the name of the reef that some call Gageo Reef and others call Rixiang Reef. Please use the articles' talk pages to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. Thank you. — Jeff G. (talk|contribs) 21:50, 18 November 2007 (UTC)
Notability
[edit]I'm not sure how this is notable. The only reason I found it was by tracking Bason0's sockpuppetry. As the article is written, I don't see how its notable for inclusion at all. The article shows no historic or political importance and cites no sources. Are we to include every single submerged rock in the world? That list would number in the hundreds of thousands! Basically, there's no reason to include this unless there's something important about it that's not listed here. If there is, please include it and reference it. I've put this on my watch page. If not expanded by December, I'll nominate it for deletion. --Jdcaust (talk) 23:13, 19 November 2007 (UTC)
December 2007
[edit]I just took out some pro-Korean POV pushing. If this article were not up for AfD, I'd suggest reverting out the November 2007 changes, which originally came from the sockpuppet of a banned user. • Gene93k (talk) 23:48, 5 December 2007 (UTC)
- This reef incorporated south korea already. When korea incorporated this reef, PRC goverment did not official protest to this. also this reef first found by Japanese ship, when Korea under Japanese rule. China didn't claim this reef was their. (also China never occupied this reef) and S.Korea incorporated behavior obeyed international law and the international law of the sea. Korea and China have not territorial dispute this reef. Chinese goverment never protest to this. some ultra nationalistic chinese want make territorial dispute. and want change reef name to their own will. cleary, Rixiang Reef name is Pro-China POV pushing. if you think "Are we to include every single submerged rock in the world? That list would number in the hundreds of thousands!" ok. then, Rixiang Reef also need delete, too. by the international law, official name of This reef is Gageo reef.
