Expansion
[edit]Please help to expand this page in the future.--DvDknight 17:32, 9 March 2007 (UTC)
I apologize of my edit at 2007-03-29T01:58:57. I have reverted it now, placing the aproppiate templates for discusion (the content should not be deleted until consensus is reached). Rjgodoy 05:13, 29 March 2007 (UTC)
This page has no way of being encyclopedic, IT IS A HIGH SCHOOL. Please do not screw up the page, as in I will get mad. This is my high school.--DvDknight 13:54, 30 March 2007 (UTC)
- I suggest there is a Conflict of interest. "All text created in the Wikipedia main namespace is subject to rules covering criteria for articles (what Wikipedia is not); encyclopedic quality (attribution); editorial approach (neutral point of view); as well as the Wikipedia copyright policy. All editors are expected to stick closely to these policies when creating and evaluating material." Rjgodoy 14:11, 30 March 2007 (UTC)
GET IT RIGHT.......OR NECK HARD
[edit]This is a high school, not a college. You can't have an encyclopedic definition of this high school. There is no way a high school will be in the encyclopedia. Please get it right or neck hard. "Neck Hard" is a term that Gaffney High School created to show when something someone has done is stupid. Thanks and have a nice day.--DvDknight 16:27, 30 March 2007 (UTC)
- The page have ways of being encyclopedic (please read the notability criteria for organizations and companies, as well as the guideline about conflict of interest, or take a look on other high school articles). If you consider it is unencyclopedic, you may propose it for deletion. (btw, I have never said it were a college.)

- Please convert these lists into paragraphs. Wikipedia is not a stats almanac. –Pomte 14:16, 31 March 2007 (UTC)
Deletion?
[edit]In my opinion the Introduction and Mission are right... Some of the Facts may be included as prose / infobox. One or two additional paragraphs should be included. The result will be a stub that may be expanded later according Wikipedia policies. I said the article could be proposed for deletion because one of its main contributors considers all of its content is unencyclopedic, which I don't agree. I cannot contribute with the article because I dont know about Gaffney High School, I am only asessing its quality. Rjgodoy 20:02, 31 March 2007 (UTC)
DELC Coordinator
[edit]Please spell out the "DELC" acronym. E.g., you could say, "The Media Center has 2 media specialists and 1 Distance Education Learning Center coordinator" (if that is what it means). The acronym itself might be too limited, geographically (a quick web search suggests to me that it might be specific to South Carolina), to be worth including. If you believe that it's important, however, try saying, "... and 1 Distance Education Learning Center (DELC) coordinator" or "... and 1 DELC (Distance Education Learning Center) coordinator." --Rich Janis 09:50, 5 April 2007 (UTC)
- I agree with the suggestion, although I am not sure about the meaning. I also consider the first form is preferable, i.e. "(...) Distance Education Learning Center (DELC) coordinator". Rjgodoy 12:28, 5 April 2007 (UTC)
Image:GaffneySCPeachoidAtNight.jpg ("The 'Peachoid' a couple of miles away from Gaffney High School") is not relevant to the content of this article, which is about a specific building/institution. Rjgodoy 02:39, 12 April 2007 (UTC)
