Alum Bay station
[edit]Is this the station referred to by Bradshaw in 1863 as Alum Bay [1]? Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 09:20, 1 February 2014 (UTC)
- Yes, quite possibly. The only stations at Alum Bay are the terminals of the cable railway down to the beach. Mind you, I'm interested in this philosopher, Dr Hook... Britmax (talk) 09:55, 1 February 2014 (UTC)
- That is Robert Hooke who keeps turning up in my life via mentions on QI and a recorded commentary on an open top bus ride to the Needles. Britmax (talk) 10:04, 1 February 2014 (UTC)
