Bergen Avenue By-Pass Spur

[edit]

Something has been bothering me about this. The 1939 IRT map shows that this station was the terminus for IRT Third Avenue Line trains on the Bergen Avenue Bypass Spur. However equally decent sources note that the spur was built as far north as 180th Street – Bronx Park (IRT White Plains Road Line) in November 1904. So at some point between the construction of the "IRT Broadway Express Line" subway in 1905 and 1939, Third Avenue El trains had to be truncated to Freeman Street. Does anybody have an exact date for the truncation of these trains? ---------User:DanTD (talk) 16:04, 12 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

2004 Renovation?

[edit]

Who has information on the renovation which apparently took place in 2004 and has brought about a citation needed tag? ---------User:DanTD (talk) 03:03, 21 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
