Naming

[edit]

The station is called Botanic Garden on the BMT[1] and Franklin Avenue on the IRT.[2] If the stations are simply connected by a passageway, maybe they should be separated. --NE2 20:07, 16 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

They're not especially integrated, no. Larry V (talk | e-mail) 20:28, 16 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
If it was called Franklin Avenue-Eastern Parkway, then it wouldn't matter. But that's a different story. --Imdanumber1 (talk contribs) 22:32, 28 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I removed the {{split}} tag after a long period of no discussion, but for the record, I would have opposed a split. Marc Shepherd 21:18, 24 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I am requesting that the page Franklin Avenue - Botanic Garden be moved to the alternative title, Franklin Avenue / Botanic Garden, per the naming convention of the WikiProject New York City Public Transportation project. Relisting to allow clarification of whether the guideline quoted is current. The example currently [3] given in the guideline, Fulton Street / Broadway – Nassau Street (New York City Subway), has now been moved away from that name! Andrewa (talk) 16:21, 14 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
