greyfriars and images

[edit]

Authors note : Greyfriars School, Gloucester, is not the Greyfriars School of fiction. TimothyWF (talk) 16:54, 24 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Adding Images : I have very nearly completed this article for submission. I have included two photographs (yesterday) into the article and now I have four others to add. These would go into a Gallery which I have read Wikipedia likes. Could you tell me please how to do this please?. How do I position them?( One photo was added via Wiki Commons today: Frank Richardson with his men in in 1899 but appears now to have disappeared.) Questions

[edit]

I changed "Memoirs of Miss Dorothy Olivia Georgina Peto" to "The Memoirs of Miss Dorothy Olivia Georgiana Peto, OBE", which refers to Dorothy Peto. I can't imagine two book titles and names so similar. Note that in the second title, it's Georgiana instead of Georgina. Is that change correct? Notability Issues

[edit]

Where is the notability of this person? The apex of his career is that he was the Chief Constable of a small town in England. How is that notable? He is essentially obscure isn't he if it were not for this article in Wikipedia? It is in fact a very long article about someone not very important, other than the Wikipedian editor's opinions of his importance, written by essentially 2 people, who only warrants inclusion because of so many other obscure articles in Wikipedia. Relative to the potential importance of other articles on human contributors, it appears to be kind of sad actually, that this article so widely distorts the subjects relative lack of importance in British or human history.
