Davou Essay

[edit]

how do ppl feel about this essay? It can possibly replace the article, but i think its either or. Also, Davou, dont write comments or signatures in the article. --1698 00:36, 6 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • sorry about signing in the article, I was rather new at this back then... I see that the essay was removed due to worry of plagarism... I wrote the contribution for a class entitled 'art and history', and am perfectly fine with it bieng published here. I would like to open a discussion regarding this, otherwise I will revert the change. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Davou (talkcontribs) 18:45, 8 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Question about the title of this article

[edit]

Actually, I am not satisfied with the current title of this article: "Four Arts of the Chinese Scholar". This term is very hard to be found on the Internet. Is there any formal translation for these "four arts" in English? Is it really for "Scholar"? Sholar or Scholars? "The"? Anyway, the "Arts" and "Scholar" should not be capatilized here according to the rule of wiki. I like to know your opinions. Thanks. --Neo-Jay 23:51, 17 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

definately hard to get a good title, but i think title case is fitting, which is used in many other articles of the similar topics... like Four Great Classical Novels --1698 06:43, 18 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
