Opposed deletion
[edit]Hi BlitzGreg! I am the editor who seconded the proposed deletion of this page, on the grounds that notability is not established to Wikipedia general notability guidelines and the notability guideline for software. Notability can be demonstrated only through reliable secondary sources which are not published by the organizations associated with the software (for example, a magazine article). You've opposed it, and that's fine. Before someone comes along and takes the article to the next step in the deletion process, can you provide any references that demonstrate that this software meets either one of those guidelines? - Yes as I said I am disputing it on the grounds that both CityVille 2 and FarmVille 2 are very well known and notable games that were built with the engine, and the fact that List of game engines used to have a red link to this article waiting for it to be created before I got started with the article. There are also more book citations that can help verify the content as well. BlitzGreg (talk) 03:21, 17 January 2014 (UTC)
That's a good start, but I think we need more. Here are some sources that I found:
I'm not sure that these are enough. Usually if a topic meets the notability guidelines it is not difficult to find a lot of sources, but I'm having trouble with this. Ivanvector (talk) 03:55, 17 January 2014 (UTC)
I found this reference, this game engine is listed in Adobe along Starling and Away3D: http://www.adobe.com/devnet/flashplayer/stage3d.html 190.195.95.181 (talk) 21:03, 26 March 2014 (UTC)
Also, there's another book mentioning Flare3D: http://books.google.com.ar/books?id=tZoLAAAAQBAJ&pg=PA384&lpg=PA384&dq=flare3d.com+-site:flare3d.com&source=bl&ots=lpGMcOfyJR&sig=Z7dM9wFeWi2XGFYPyvLSjp8BJ50&hl=en&sa=X&ei=YEEzU7aQL4WX0QHujYCoBw&redir_esc=y#v=onepage&q=flare3d.com%20-site%3Aflare3d.com&f=false 190.195.95.181 (talk) 21:11, 26 March 2014 (UTC)
