[edit]The IMDB lists the filming location as Gijón, Asturias, Spain -- not the Caspian Sea. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.95.34.14 (talk) 15:29, 23 October 2007 (UTC)
Is this film really a documentary? It was intended as an homage to Ozu's sparse directorial style, but doesn't attempt to present any biographical information. In fact, there's no text or dialogue. Bateau (talk) 18:48, 8 November 2008 (UTC)
- This is a difficult question for many of Kiarostami's films and those of other Iranian directors. I don't know this specific film, but I know that these films often seem to be documentaries. There are no professional actors, there doesn't seem to be a script (but there often is). But everything that is seen on the screen is intended by the director. Sometimes even the tiniest things are arranged by the director even though it seems randomly when watching the film. So I would be very careful to call films like these documentaries. --92.72.199.225 (talk) 01:38, 21 November 2016 (UTC)
