[edit]

Terrain following radar? I've never heard of it.. And maybe take out the link for "thought-controlled" please.. or probably change the term used. Other than that, the article is good. Liana83 (talk) 11:53, 4 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hoax reasoning

[edit]

I believe that this may be an attempt to pass off a fictional aircraft as a real one for the following reasons:

  1. The images in the article appear to be either screenshots from a video game or are taken from a site called "www.thinkrussian.org"
  2. The actual MiG-31 is codenamed "Firebird"
  3. The "references" used are mainly forums and non-reliable sources.
  4. Some of the capabilities, such as "thought controlled weapons" seem a little... unrealistic, to say the least.
  5. We have the same info at Fictional military aircraft#Mikoyan MiG-31 (fictional)

As such, I am going to tag this for either speedy deletion or as a possible hoax. Crisco 1492 (talk) 13:59, 7 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
