- VicSig says "Ferntree Gully" with "Fern Tree Gully" being a former name.[1][2].
- Connex also uses "Frentree Gully" for both station names.[3].
- Official government geographic names register uses "Ferntree Gully"[4] and "Upper Ferntree Gully"[5] for the railway station names.
