White noise?

[edit]

Is white noise really that often heard in Fennesz' music, compared to other colours of noise, that it need's to be highlighted here? White noise is a specific type of signal. While Fennesz probably has used a white noise generator at some instance, it is not white after any filtering or other processing. Also, Fennesz might as easily have generated other colours of noise to begin with. I would prefer the article to simply state that Fennesz' compositions include washes of noise, without specifying the colour. --88.112.62.203 (talk) 14:59, 20 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Rename

[edit]

He is primarily known in the cited reliable sources as just "Fennesz", so that is the common name. Any objections to a rename? czar  01:29, 11 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed, no objections here - I would go for it. --Amkilpatrick (talk) 06:01, 12 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Origin

[edit]

Actually he is from Neusiedl am See, not from Vienna. As you can see here: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neusiedl_am_See#Pers.C3.B6nlichkeiten --Haxtibel (talk) 16:32, 3 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
