On 19 April 2020, it was proposed that this article be moved to Faker (gamer). The result of the discussion was Moved.

"Faker is widely regarded as the greatest League of Legends player in history"

While this is a more opinionated claim compared to other, I feel it's valid. When you look up popular league of legends players Faker is nearly always mentioned. (see https://www.redbull.com/us-en/best-league-of-legends-players-of-all-time or https://old.reddit.com/r/leagueoflegends/comments/17tvaem/best_player_currently/) It's difficult to find an academic source for his popularity, however as we just need to gauge public opinion, I feel that using data from public forums like reddit or blogs is more acceptable.

Moreover while his team has won multiple tournaments and lauded Faker as a major reason why, I feel that this is reason enough to leave the text as is. Wronglyindited (talk) 05:05, 4 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Breakdown at recent event worth mentioning in brief?

Following a recent defeat to Gen.G in the LSK 2024 summer tournament, Faker experienced a distressing breakdown, repeatedly slamming his head against a wall with such intensity that his teammates had to intervene and restrain him. While details surrounding the incident remain scarce, attributed primarily to stress, I believe it’s important to update the page to reflect this significant moment.
