Release Year

[edit]

Where exactly is it established that this is a 1979 release? The first advertisement seems to be January 1980, the first edition of the T80-FS1 Flight Simulator manual says March 1980 (with "© Bruce A. Artwick 1980),[1] and the first edition of the A2-FS1 Flight Simulator manual says January 1980 (again, with "© Bruce A. Artwick 1980").[2] And there are various apparently reliable sources establishing it as January 1980, which would be consistent with the manuals and advertisements.[3][4] --tronvillain (talk) 15:16, 11 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

FS1 is not the name of the software

[edit]

FS1 is not in the title of the software. It's just Flight Simulator. FS1 was its catalog number at subLOGIC. A2-FS1 meant it was released for the Apple II and it was their first release in the category of flight simulators.

I'd just fix it, but you've got the article named that, and someone has to move it and whatnot. 2601:840:8080:26C0:489B:5417:76B7:AA6D (talk) 03:35, 12 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
