Needs clarification
[edit]Why start naming planets with a lowercase b, instead of a lowercase a?
If stars are labelled with capital letters and planets with lower case letters, why is the first planet discovered orbiting the brightest star in a system labelled <starname>Ab, instead of <starname>Aa ?
When a binary star system consists of equally bright stars then those two stars are designated <starname>Aa and <starname>Ab...
So a double “Aa” is apparently no problem. 86.93.208.34 (talk) 03:22, 21 April 2020 (UTC)
