Trans?
[edit]Should we add any transgender-related categories, or does Category:People with non-binary gender identities suffice? ---Another Believer (Talk) 21:44, 8 May 2018 (UTC)
- @Another Believer: She no longer identifies as trans and hasn't for some time so I'm unsure whether that would be appropriate. However I do believe she has stated that she is non-binary so may be that should be looked into a bit further. Brocicle (talk) 12:54, 14 June 2018 (UTC)

"American"
[edit]Eureka is featured in "American" (Spotify link here). Should this be added to a music/discography section? ---Another Believer (Talk) 16:45, 29 June 2018 (UTC)

- Update: I got the ball rolling on a Discography section, but improvements are welcome. Thanks! ---Another Believer (Talk) 22:36, 11 December 2019 (UTC)
She or they?
[edit]In different parts of the article, Eureka is described as either "she" or "they". I think it would be best to just simplify things by using "she", as the term "they" can be confusing to readers who are not familiar with this type of gender pronoun. Those readers might interpret "they" as being plural rather than singular. Either way, both "she" and "they" should not be used in the same article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Lupine453 (talk • contribs) 21:29, 20 September 2018 (UTC)
- @Lupine453: I believe we're using "they" when referring to Huggard, who identifies as gender fluid/neutral, and "she" specifically when referring to Eureka. ---Another Believer (Talk) 22:01, 20 September 2018 (UTC)
- Yes, I second this per the sources in the article. David Huggard is genderfluid and uses singular they pronouns, while their drag persona, Eureka, is female and uses feminine pronouns. Armadillopteryxtalk 20:03, 21 September 2018 (UTC)
- I acknowledge some readers might find the use of "they" confusing, but I also think we need to respect the subject's indentity(ies). I'm not entirely opposed to linking to Singular they for the first appearance of "they", if other editors think that'd be helpful. ---Another Believer (Talk) 20:05, 21 September 2018 (UTC)
- Yeah, we could do that here as in other articles, like Aja. Armadillopteryxtalk 15:01, 22 September 2018 (UTC)

Category transgender nonbinary people
[edit]I'm adding all people in the category Category:People with non-binary gender identities into the subcategory, Category:Transgender non-binary people because I think it's silly to have these people divided into two categories, unless this person is intersex. If anyone disagrees in a particular case, then please respond.—Naddruf (talk ~ contribs) 17:47, 9 April 2020 (UTC)
