As a member of European Left Party, the ideology of this Estonian party is somewhere between:

  • communism
  • left socialism
  • red-green

as indicated on their official site in this introduction.--Enzino (talk) 09:31, 7 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thank for your source, but then again, the party or even Estonia is mentioned nowhere on this web-site. In effect, the Estonian United Left Party is a party of Russian minority, which was formed through fusion of a marginal left-socialist group and a much larger but still minor Russian party (Estonian United People's Party) of vague left-wing/centre-left positions. I'm pretty certain that communism is mentioned nowhere in the party's programme, as such a thing would diminish further their dim chances of success in Estonian politics. Their self-identification seems to be 'New Left', whatever this means. --Miacek and his crime-fighting dog (woof!) 10:13, 7 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Well, if they won't get in charge in Estonia - that means, that Estonia is doomed. Right- and far-right parties, which are ruling Estonia for the last 19 years led the country into an economical crisis. The EULP is the one of only two normal political parties in Estonia (with Keskerakond being the other one) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.190.195.86 (talk) 21:14, 10 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
