Problematic tags
[edit]I have removed the tags as the article has been edited and modified over a long time period and hence I do not think these tags applies anymore so removing the tags. --Meritanyti (talk) 18:52, 13 October 2021 (UTC)
- The tags haven't been addressed - this article still has zero biographical sources, and a new user should not be removing COI tags in any case. - MrOllie (talk) 19:00, 13 October 2021 (UTC)
- @MrOllie: I am not a new user, it has been more than a year I have been editing Wikipedia. I will look for sources but can you please clarify why this article has a COI tag and which contributor has the COI? And if an user has COI edits then why we cannot remove their contributions? Thanks. --Meritanyti (talk) 19:10, 13 October 2021 (UTC)
- You've made 40ish edits, which is definitely still new, especially then 1/4 of them are to a page with a history of COI problems. ArvFolc is the editor in question. Removing his contributions would essentially be deleting the whole article, which could very well happen given that we still don't have any independent biographical sources. - MrOllie (talk) 19:17, 13 October 2021 (UTC)
- @MrOllie: I see. Okay then what do you suggest? The person here is clearly a notable economist so do you mean this problematic tags will remain forever? I have recently added a link which has some biographical details. --Meritanyti (talk) 19:23, 13 October 2021 (UTC)
- Given that there are no independent sources, I do not agree that this person is clearly notable. I'll do a search myself when I have the time and see if this should be brought to AFD. - MrOllie (talk) 19:26, 13 October 2021 (UTC)
