There is confusion regarding dates for the opening of the various railway lines. Source documents, and their translation, include: Commencement of works; completion of works; first public service; official opening. As in a 'Golden Spade' or a 'Golden Spike' ceremony, official approval / sign-off to allow trains or the actual commencement of trains (test or full public service).
