Removed PROD

[edit]

I've removed the PROD notice, added by User:Shoeofdeath with the explanation "Non-notable painter. No links here, no articles in any other language".

I think there is scope for an article here: Google finds 19,000 hits for him, and there's a museum of his work in Haifa http://ilmuseums.com/museum_eng.asp?id=9 (now spam url) with exhibitions that change every 3 months. Jheald 06:53, 25 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fine, but this has existed since September 2005 and is still a very weak stub with only a sentence of content added by the (banned) creator. Google hits and and a museum do not mean someone is notable. There is no way this will become an article - if there was "scope" someone would have added some actual content by now. shoeofdeath 08:50, 25 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Emmanuel Mane-KatzEmmanuel Mané-Katz – To agree with its own lead sentence. Wikipedia includes diacritics when they belong there (even if some more jingoistic English-language sources drop them.)  — SMcCandlish ¢ 😼  21:50, 23 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
