Merger proposal

[edit]

I propose that Ejin River be merged into Ruo Shui. I think that the content in the Ejin River article can easily be explained in the context of Ruo Shui, and the Ruo Shui article is of a reasonable size in which the merging of Ejin River will not cause any problems as far as article size or undue weight is concerned. Additional notes

[edit]

Both these articles refer to the same river. I am proposing that the Ejin River be merged into this one for two main reasons: 1. They refer to the same river. 2. The Ruo Shui article is bigger and more complete and the information from the Ejin River article should be relatively simpler to merge with it rather than the other way around. Please leave you votes of support or opposition below and please give your reasons. John Hill (talk) 08:30, 5 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Support merge. It's quite obvious we have a duplicate. Both have about same amount of links. Cheers, Rayshade (talk) 03:33, 8 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Support merge. It's a duplicated article / Apoie a junção, o artigo está duplicado. Abraços, Pdr.furtado (talk) 11:08, 16 October 2012 (UTC-3)

While I do not oppose the merge, I'm having a very hard time matching the contents of the articles together (any chance of a map?), and losing the distinct content of the Ejin River article is not acceptable. Jpatokal (talk) 11:28, 28 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
