Proposed page move
[edit]There is only one active Eastern Pennsylvania Conference, so I have proposed moving this page there with a top link to the historical league that existed for three years from 1937 to 1940. Keystone18 (talk) 16:18, 5 September 2022 (UTC)
- Please follow the instructions at WP:RSPM to propose a move; the section should be added to this page, not directly to the list at WP:RM, because it will be overwritten by a bot if placed there. Dekimasuよ! 10:57, 6 September 2022 (UTC)
- Thanks very much for the assistance. Just did this. Keystone18 (talk) 04:33, 20 September 2022 (UTC)

- Eastern Pennsylvania Conference (PIAA) → Eastern Pennsylvania Conference
- Eastern Pennsylvania Conference → Eastern Pennsylvania Conference (disambiguation)
– There is only one Eastern Pennsylvania Conference currently. The other on the disambiguation page existed briefly and unremarkably for a mere three years from 1937 to 1940 and has been discontinued now for greater than 80 years. The current conference, however, is regionally and even nationally prominent, giving rise to multiple professional and Olympic-level athletes and serving as one of the nation's most recognized high school conferences, including 18 large high schools in the Lehigh Valley and Pocono Mountain regions of Pennsylvania (some of which rank as the largest high schools in the state) as described and documented on that page. The discontinued division from the 1930s should continue to function under its current name and the disambiguation page should be replaced by Eastern Pennsylvania Conference (PIAA). Thanks. - Resubstituted {{subst:requested move}} to fix malformed move request; removed duplicate section heading. Rotideypoc41352 (talk · contribs) 05:18, 20 September 2022 (UTC)
