Note at the end of Paradise X
[edit]I don't think that the note holds much weight. The accuracy of the machinery of the Watcher was never itself called into question, just the information being supplied by Uatu himself. The eyes given to Nighthawk were revealed to have been a piece of the Cosmic Consciousness, and even though they were a gift from Mephisto, the truth in their revelations were never called into question. In fact, Mephisto himself benefited from the revelations given by the eyes. That said, I'm prepared to remove the note if no one has any objections. Gnosis1185 04:02, 23 March 2006 (UTC)
Added Artist
[edit]This page made no mention of the artist, John Paul Leon. Only of Alex Ross's cover art. I added a sentence mentioning this, as it's really something of an oversight.
Fixed Tense
[edit]I attempted to correct the tense of the article. The story summaries in particular should be in present tense now, but it's late and I might have missed some things, so someone else can remove the blue banner if it doesn't need to be there anymore. CantonDem 05:59, 8 March 2007 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:EarthXRecap.JPG
[edit]Image:EarthXRecap.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 02:49, 3 June 2007 (UTC)

Requested move 5 May 2018
[edit]- The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the move request was: no consensus to move the page at this time, per the discussion below. Dekimasuよ! 17:26, 11 May 2018 (UTC)
Earth X → Earth X (Marvel Comics series) – The whole article is composed of information about Marvel Comics' trilogy, Earth-X, Paradise X and Universe X, therefore should give an appropriate name representing them. Plus, it would disambiguating DC Comics' Earth-X, about a parallel universe where the Axis Powers won WWII. NeoBatfreak 00:47, 5 May 2018 (UTC)
- Support move. The current title implies Marvel's trilogy to be the primary topic, which an obscure 1999 comic book series almost certainly isn't. ONR (talk) 02:09, 5 May 2018 (UTC)
- @Old Naval Rooftops: Your lack of familiarity with it does not make it obscure. If nothing else, it's no more obscure than the parallel universe this DAB is looking to solve. Argento Surfer (talk) 13:17, 9 May 2018 (UTC)
- Another possible title I think perhaps The Earth-X Saga (Marvel Comics).--NeoBatfreak 06:28, 5 May 2018 (UTC)
- Oppose, the article is exactly where it should be. The other ambiguous term is a mere list entry and is dealt with via a hatnote. There are no other articles that would require this one to be disambiguated, and even if there were this one would still be primary topic. —Xezbeth (talk) 17:55, 5 May 2018 (UTC)
- There are multiple entries on that list, and one of them points to a full article Crisis on Earth-X, so it seems, at least, to be a valid concern worth discussing. -- Netoholic @ 04:48, 6 May 2018 (UTC)
- Oppose - The hatnote is sufficient for the other use of the term, which does not have its own article. The Arrowverse crossover mentioned above is a different name, which is DAB enough. Argento Surfer (talk) 12:22, 10 May 2018 (UTC)
- The above discussion is preserved as an archive of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on this talk page or in a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.
