Relation to Amazonian Manatees
[edit]Couldn't this page be merged with the page for the Amazonian manatee? That page is shorter than it should be, and if the so-called world expert on manatees considers the two species to be the same, and there is some DNA evidence to back that up, then what the heck, Wikipedia? Do it. Merge. Become one with the manatees of South America as they become one. I'm srsly, you guise. There's not as much research on manatees as there should be.
