number of tracks

[edit]

the number of tracks in the article said 2 but in the infobox said 3. i changed it to 3, but despite a quick search i was not able to confirm whether this was actually correct or not. it would make sense that it were 3 tracks; often the ends of the old lines have the middle express track continue until the last stations where there are island platforms (all of the still-existing IRT lines in the bronx for example do this). however, there are a few exceptions -- for example, the BMT culver line where avenue X and neptune avenue are two-track, one island platform stations. if anyone can confirm this either way, please do. my mistake, the above only applies to neptune avenue Niffweed17, Destroyer of Chickens (talk) 20:53, 29 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
@DanTD: The book that I just added as a source, which I scanned into the Internet Archive, shows a track layout with 2 tracks. It appears that noone corrected this mistake. Just making sure, but have you heard of any shard of evidence suggesting that there were three tracks here? Thanks.--Kew Gardens 613 (talk) 21:49, 2 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I haven't got a clue where that came from. In fact I wasn't even sure you were talking about a subway station. ---------User:DanTD (talk) 01:07, 3 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
