The result of the move request was: consensus to move the theme parks, per the discussion below, but no consensus to move the plot device in the current discussion. Thus, for the time being the disambiguation page has been placed at Dreamworld with Dream world also redirecting to the dab. Dekimasuよ! 21:00, 14 June 2018 (UTC)
- Dream world (plot device) → Dream world
- Dreamworld → Dreamworld (Australian theme park)
- Dream World → Dream World (Thai theme park)
– This should be the primary topic and where Dreamworld redirects to. It has more encyclopedic precedent historically, and importance to a general audience, even if it does not have as many pageviews. Dream World should simply redirect to the disambiguation. ZXCVBNM (TALK) 04:08, 7 June 2018 (UTC)
- Support 2nd and 3rd moves' but Dream world should redirect to Dreamworld (disambiguation) and that should probably be on the baseline instead of the Aussie park. In ictu oculi (talk) 07:38, 7 June 2018 (UTC)
- Support per nom. Dream world shouldn't redirect to Dreamworld (disambiguation) because importance-wise the literary/filmic concept probably is the primary topic, and zero entries at the disambiguation page are two-word and lower-case; they're all either Dreamworld or Dream World (capitalized). — SMcCandlish ☏ ¢ 😼 12:59, 7 June 2018 (UTC)
- Support moving Dream World to Dream World (Thailand) and Dreamworld to Dreamworld (Australia) (those are the more usual disambiguators, and much more WP:CONCISE than the proposed options). The page view evidence shows that the Thai park is not the primary topic of the "Dream World" spelling over the plot device, and "Dreamworld" is borderline even when leaving out "Dream World".[1] Oppose moving Dream world (plot device); it's just not what most readers are searching for.--Cúchullain t/c 17:30, 12 June 2018 (UTC)
- And move the dab page to Dreamworld.--Cúchullain t/c 17:32, 12 June 2018 (UTC)
- Support Cúchullain's proposal as the most sensible one (including the dab page move). No such user (talk) 15:02, 13 June 2018 (UTC)

– Attempting this yet again. The fictional/metaphysical concept is the clear primary topic for "Dreamworld" with all other names being derived from that one. It should occupy the main namespace. ZXCVBNM (TALK) 05:50, 6 October 2019 (UTC) --Relisting. Sceptre (talk) 19:58, 15 October 2019 (UTC)
- Comment I should think that the clear primary topic should be the unconscious dreamings of a person when asleep, the world of dreams (a psychology topic); and not the topic of milieu created by works of fiction. -- 67.70.33.184 (talk) 06:26, 8 October 2019 (UTC)
- Support as clear primary topic / concept dab Red Slash 15:50, 8 October 2019 (UTC)

Support. While I don’t agree the case for PT is “clear”, on investigating I agree the case is correct. The plot device is the original encyclopedic topic, with theme parks being derivative uses trading of that concept. —SmokeyJoe (talk) 20:25, 15 October 2019 (UTC)- Oppose. It doesn’t appear that most readers searching for a “dreamland” are looking for the literary convention over lands in dreams or other unrelated topics of this name.—Cúchullain t/c 00:08, 16 October 2019 (UTC)
- Support. Yes, this is the primary topic. -- Necrothesp (talk) 13:17, 16 October 2019 (UTC)
- Oppose, pur Cuchullain. | abequinnfourteen 00:15, 22 October 2019 (UTC)
- Oppose, instead Merge and redirect Dream world (plot device) to Dream sequence. While research usage of "dream world" as the story telling device, and venturing into television, "dream world" is very rare, the predominating term is "dream sequence", and sure enough, there is the article at Dream sequence. --SmokeyJoe (talk) 00:28, 22 October 2019 (UTC)
- A dream sequence is not the same thing as a dream world at all. -- Necrothesp (talk) 09:17, 22 October 2019 (UTC)

- A dream world is a particular example of a dream sequence. --SmokeyJoe (talk) 05:08, 23 October 2019 (UTC)
- Not at all. A dream sequence is, as the article says, "a brief interlude from the main story", and is usually not "real". A dream world is a world in which most or much of the story takes place and which seems (or is) entirely real. They are completely different things. -- Necrothesp (talk) 10:38, 23 October 2019 (UTC)
